What has happened to John Mayes website and his videos that he used to have for sale? They were great! (One of my favorite builders.) |

I recall seeing him selling his entire shop a while back. I don't recall the particulars so I may be mistaken but I think he may be out of the lutherie business for now. |

I beleive he went to work for a somewhat big guitar making outfit, but I don't remember which one... |

Well, I hope it's a good move for him. Such a nice and humble guy. (Still wish he would keep selling his guitar building CD's though.) |

I also noticed that his website was not in operation and wondered what he was doing these days. He did post his shop for sale awhile back. I the tread, as I recall, he said he had a new opportunity, but did not say what is was. I agree that it would be a loss if the CDs go out of circulation. Hope all is going well for him. |

Website got hijacked. Let it expire and someone snatched it up. So I don't have it going at the moment. I still have my videos if anyone is interested please just email me or PM me and I can get them to you. Thanks for the kind words fellas. |

Yes I do. It's a work in progress. There are a couple old ones on you tube but not on my site as of yet. |
